Happy Fall to all of our creative followers! I hope you are enjoying the blog tour this month - didn't Jan Tinklenberg create some amazing projects! I am sure you are enjoying all of the fabulous projects my fellow freaks have shared with you this month and I want to say how grateful I am to be a part of this group. We are blessed with a group of really creative and artistic people and I am inspired by all of them!
Today I am going to share a few of the projects I did at my recent classes. One of my favorite projects to create is a new collage and I can't tell you how excited I was to see all of the great sets we had this year for Fall and Thanksgiving. The Sweater Weather DSP created the perfect background to create a Fall Collage. This was such a fun collage to create and it would make a perfect hostess gift to take to Thanksgiving dinner (if you are lucky enough not to have to cook)! Another fun thing about making collages is that each 2 inch square could also be used on a mini notecard, or you could use it on placecards, gift tags and many other things!
Earlier this week I had the opportunity to go out to dinner with some relatives of my friend Maureen. The group of ladies was visiting my hometown, Racine WI, and they are all from MI. One of Maureen's aunts is a follower of my blog and while I hadn't met her before I thought it would be really fun to join Aunt Janet and the rest of Maureen's relatives for dinner. I brought along a Fall collage as a surprise for Aunt Janet so I hope she is joining us on the blog tour today! It was really fun to meet a fellow stamper from MI and a blog follower!
I also want to share a couple of cards that I designed for Fall. The first card is a fun pumpkin made with our oval framelits. I love the little flowers made with the Boho Blossoms Punch. They almost remind of those straw flowers you can buy.
The second card uses more of the sweater weather DSP and the Wonderfall and Flower Shop stamp sets. Isn't it amazing what a little bit of sparkle paper can do for a card! What I love about this card is that it could be used for a Fall birthday, a thank you card of whatever you like!
Thanks for stopping by - now it is time to send you onto the next site where you can see the fabulous creations of Wendy Weixler!
