Hi Stampers!
For Day 20 of the Christmas Card Making Challenge I had to make a card which had watercoloring. I used the Yuletide Pasture stamp set today for the first time. I just love this yak - he is an unlikely animal to see on a Holiday card but I would like to imagine there may have even been a yak at the manger scene. I colored this with the new aqua painters and ink from the ink pad. If you have our new ink pads, it is a little more difficult to get ink on the lid of your pad for watercoloring. I like to use a clear block and just dab it onto the ink to pick up the color from the pad - much easier than squishing the pad and it cleans up so easily when you are done.
Here’s what I used to make this card:
- Yuletide Pasture and Merry Moose Stamp Sets
- Rectangle Stitched Framelits
- Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder
- Stayzon Black ink
- Cinnamon Cider, Blushing Bride, Sahara Sand, Just Jade and Cherry Cobbler Ink
- Cherry Cobbler CS and Watercolor Paper
- Classic Christmas DSP
- Aquapainter
- Wink of Stella Glitter Pen
