A Day Without Chocolate!

Hi Stampers!  

I have a fun card to share with you today!   I designed this a while back for a swap I was in and it is a card that just makes me happy!    This card features the Nothing’s Better Than Stamp set and coordinating dies.   I love this stamp set because it has cookies, chocolate, coffee and cocktails - what more could we ask!!   I also used the Ornate Layers Dies which are just spectacular every time I use them.  

Here’s what I used to make this card:

• Nothing’s Better than Stamps
• Early Espresso, So Saffron and Vanilla CS
  
• Early Espresso Ink
• Ornate Layer and Love you More than Dies
• Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder

Welcome to the Control Freaks Blog Hop featuring our new 2020-2022 In-Color Collection.   You may have arrived here from Debbie Henderson’s blog - I hope you loved her fabulous creations!

The new In-Color Collection is really great this year.  I have really enjoyed working with them.  It is always fun to see how the new In-Colors blend with our existing color palette and I have found so many new color groupings that are just fabulous together.   

I have two cards to share today, one features Magenta Madness with Just Jade, and the other combines Cinnamon Cider, Bumble Bee and Misty Moonlight.   My first card features the new Arrange a Wreath stamp set which is going to be a huge favorite.  This stamp set has a couple of great wreaths that can either be stamped or just die cut and then all sorts of goodies to add to the wreath to make it special for Christmas, Easter or any occasion with flowers.   

Here’s what I used for this card:

• Arrange a Wreath Stamp set and dies
• Magenta Madness Ink
• Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Whisper White and Bumblebee Cardstock
• In Color 6 x 6 DSP Assortment 
• 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots
• Confetti Flowers Border Punch
• Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Pack and White Bakers Twine

My second card has a bit of a Southwestern feel with the color combination.  

Here’s what I used to make this card:

• Country Home Stamp set
• Cinnamon Cider, Misty Moonlight, BumbleBee and Vanilla CS
• Greenery Embossing Folder
• Scalloped border die from Stitched Be Mine
• Medium Daisy Punch and 1/2 inch circle
• Bakers Twine (dyed with the cinnamon ink pad)
