Frosted Medallion

Hi Stampers

Today I will share a pretty little card I made with the Frosted Medallions set and Cookie Cutter Christmas!    First let me say - the Frosted Medalions set is so beautiful.    I absolutely love the big medallion stamp and it will be beautiful to use on cards throughout the year, not just for Christmas.    Combine that with the Softly Falling embossing folder and you can create a nice wintery feel on your cards.   The little Eskimo is stamped on watercolor paper  and colored with an aqua painter.

Last weekend when I was at Gather Guesthouse in Waunakee, WI, one of the pillow surprises I received was the new Stitched framelits by Stampin'Up!   I was so excited to get them and they are even more fabulous than I thought - you get ovals, squares and circles!!   I couldn't wait to get home and try them out!   This is a card that I did last night at class, and it is so lovely!    I used the Brayer on the Woodlands Embossing Folder, with Soft sky ink, and then just used a blender pen and Soft Suede ink, to fill in the lines on the trees.  I had to pull out a couple of retired products to finish the card ~ I really cannot live without a tiny flower punch.   Whenever a card needs a little something more, that little flower does the trick.

Stamping fun in Waunakee

Hi Stampers, 

I am here in Waunkaee WI hanging out with my stamping friends as we prepare to attend the Stampin'Up! On Stage Events in Madison.    I have gathered together with some of my closest friends and a few new friends for a fun weekend of stamping at the most fabulous new crafting venue - Gather Guest House, which is owned by my pal Susan Gardner!

Last night the Stampin'Up! Staff arrived in WI - from Salt Lake City and we had the honor of welcoming them to share dinner with us at the guest house.   It was a fun evening and I hope you all enjoy the pictures.

   

 

Merry Christmouse

Hi Stampers, 

Tonight I want to share a sweet card I made with the Merry Mice Stamp Set by Stampin'Up!   These little mice are so cute!   I decided to use some nontraditional colors for this card, mainly because I wanted to use that fabulous sparkly ribbon!   I also used the new sweater embossing folder which you can see is absolutely amazing.  It gives a really  deep impression and is a beautiful design.  I hope you enjoy the card! 

 

That is all for now.  Tomorrow I am off to Waunakee to spend a few days at  Gather, a new crafting retreat.   I will post pictures so you can see this amazing place.  Then on the weekend we will be gathering in Madison for Stampin'Up! Onstage.  I  have created some fun things to stamp over the next few days so please check back.
