Hello Stampers!! Welcome to the Control Freaks Blog Hop! I hope you enjoyed the beautiful projects shared by my fellow stamper Robin Spinner! For this tour we are sharing things we have made from the products in the new catalog! It is always exciting when we have a new catalog and I absolutely love some of the new products we have to work with. One of my favorite things in the new book is the gingham wheel. If you have never tried this - I highly recommend buying a sheet of the Clear -Mount Cling Foam (page 197) and converting the wheel to a clear mount stamp. I have found that I like my wheels so much more when I use them on the clear blocks - they are just easier to work with! My first card uses two new Hostess Sets Happy Flowers and Banner Greetings along with the new Very Vintage Designer Buttons and our Washi Tape which is so much fun!!
Do you get the feeling I like the new Pistachio and Strawberry In-Colors? This second card is one that we did at class tonight. I also want to mention how incredibly fun the new ruffle stretch ribbon is. It is so pretty inserted between a couple of pieces of cardstock - but the really fun way to use it is to put it around a punched out shape! This card uses one of my favorite new stamp set - the Flower Shop.
