Hi Stampers!
Recently I co-hosted the holiday party for my first level downline girls and the Stampin'Circle Group with my upline Susan Gardner. The nice part of this party is that all of the demonstrators bring the food and Susan is pretty strict that it has to be something really yummy and homemade! I didn't get a picture of our lunch but we had some delicious salads, appetizers and desserts and I send a yummy thank you to all who were there! It was an amazing spread of food!
After lunch Susan treated us to a white elephant gift exchange of Stampin'Up! products which was so much fun. I can't tell you how excited I was to steal a box of ink pads that someone else had opened!! I will share a few pictures from the event. After we opened our presents, we gathered in my stamp area and made a couple of projects! Be sure and scroll down - because you won't want to miss out on what we created!!

And now let me share what we made! A few weeks before the party Susan and I got together to try to figure out what we were going to make. We had over 20 ladies gathering together so it had to be something simple, but we wanted it to be spectacular. We decided we both loved the ornament on the front of the Holiday Mini Catalog, so we would do that. When we went to make a sample, we quickly scrapped that idea. That amount of cutting was never going to work with this large of a group - and it would just take too long. So we put on our thinking caps and we decided we really wanted to do an ornament, but we needed to come up with something that could be done quicker, and so we figured out how to make this ornament using just three punches!

It was a really fun day together with our great group of demonstrators and Susan and I are so lucky to know these ladies! I also wanted to send a thank you to Susan for all of the fun this day provided.
