Halloween Shadowbox

Hi Stampers,

Tonight I am going to share the Halloween shadowbox I made.   At convention they made any announcement that we would receive this box if we had a new recruit, and our new recruit also got one!  I was so excited to have someone sign up so we could both have this fabulous Halloween decoration to display in our homes!   This was so much fun to make - I even offered to put my upline's together for her and I have to tell you - making those little strings of banners is so much fun!     I changed it up a bit from the original, and I think it turned out really fun!  This is the box that I made for my upline and I know she will be really happy to see that I didn't put the spider on it!

Autumn Accents

Hi Stampers,

Today I want to share a couple of cards that I made for my daughter Sarah to use.  She recently graduated from the Vici Aveda Institute where she studied cosmetology and has been working to secure a job.  She asked if I would make her some cards to use for thank you notes to send out following her interviews and she wanted something really natural looking like the Aveda products she loves, but she also wanted them to be pretty.    I was really excited that I had ordered the Autumn Accents die for my big shot.  This is one of those dies we all should have because it is classic leaves for Fall.  Here are the cards that I made.  My favorite part is that I embossed just a tiny edge of the inside liner where Sarah would write her message, and I also did the flap on the envelopes.  So pretty!   I am really excited for Sarah because after a lot of hard work,  she has accepted a job at the Neroli Salon and Spa here in Milwaukee!  

Fall is in the Air

Hi Stampers,

Here are a couple of cards we did at my Fall class a few weeks back.   I love the colors of Fall and we have so many stamp sets that lend themself to this season.   The cards on the left was done with the baby wipe technique - just drop some ink from a reinker onto a baby wipe, and then use that to stamp on instead of an ink pad.  It gives you the most beautiful Fall leaves.  I loved the way it looked so much I even did the piece for the label with the baby wipe!
