Hi Stampers,
Well, we all survived our papercrafting weekend and it was so much fun. I hope that everyone who atteneded had a great time - I know that I sure did! I am so grateful to my handful of customers who took a chance on this new event, and hopefully when we have our next event in the Fall even more of you will be there to share in the fun! On Friday night we had over 60 attendees for our round robin make-n-takes and everyone went home with a bag full of some really nice cards and projects that they made. We had lots of room for everyone to work and each make-n-take presenter came up with something fun for our guests to make! On Saturday each vendor set up a table to sell old products and display their papercrafting arts and we each had a table set up with more make-n-takes. I am not sure how many make-n-takes were done throughout the day but I am going to see if I can find out - I am guessing it was 250 or more. There were all sorts of things on display - we had a mixed media artist, The Polka Dots stamp store represented and a bunch of very talented Stampin'Up! demonstrators. Some of the vendors were selling used stamps (with great prices on them) and I sold retired DSP and cardstock, bow makers and I brought 750 hand stamped cards, in bags of 20-30 cards and sold all but three bags of them! They ladies were just swarming to get those cards!! We had a number of break out classes which were very successful. Planning a new event like this is a big undertaking and learning experience, but I really feel like our customers went away happy and had an enjoyable and relaxing day or two of papercrafting and shopping and now that we have one event behind us - we have all sorts of ideas for how to make it even better for you! Tonight I will just share a couple of pictures - I wish I had taken more but I took them on Friday night and not everyone had their booths ready for pictures!
I better get to work - I have two classes this week, we will be making cards using the Mixed Bunch stamp set and new blossoms punch for our cards so I need to get busy cutting! Maybe tomorrow I will share one of the cards we are going to make!
I had a fun time. I look forward to the fall event.

Connie, Thank you so much for all your help! It was complete "craziness"! One of my friends at church, told me that her husband told her, "based on the aftermath, it must have been a success." HUGE, can't wait for the fall event.
