Hi Stampers,
I know I have been the absent blogger, and I appreciate all of your reminders for me to get back to it! This was the first time in many many years that we were able to have our famiy at our house for the holidays, and we didn't have to do the traveling so I went crazy decorating, baking, cooking and shopping and my relatives traveled from Arkansas, South Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan and of course those in Wisconsin joined us for the festivities. We had a fabulous time gathering together and enjoyed some great famiy time, amazing food and all around fun! I hope all of you had a Merry Christmas also, and are looking forward to the New Year!
Now that the holidays are behind us it is time to get stamping! I am so excited about all of the new products we have in the Occasions Mini catalog. I have been working on cards for 3 different swaps I am doing so I will have tons of great new ideas to share with my customers. I will share some of the cards with my new stamps at my next posting but for today I want to share a really special card I made for a very special Aunt and Uncle who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during the holidays! Whenever I make a card to celebrate a special occasion, I love to include an old photo!
It is after midnight, and I can hear my husband getting up to start his work day! On the first of January he started a new job that is a global position with the company he has worked at for the past 6 years. A few nights each month he has to work European hours since his job is now technically in Finland. This week he has two days of starting work at midnight so he gets up - and I go to bed. Hopefully we won't have too many nights that he has to do this!
Be watching for cards using the new stamps starting tomorrow night!
