Hi Stampers!
Yesterday was a day of driving from WI back to KY -so I didn't get to post but I have something really fabulous I want to share. It was my buddy Susan's Birthday yesterday and I made her the most adorable little box. I had gotten a box like this for my birthday - from dear friend - Maureen Ziobro. She bought it at a little shop in the Adirondaks and I loved it so much I couldn't wait to see if I could actually make one. I have to say - this was one of the funnest projects I have ever done - I really like making these and we have some fantastic products to work with - there was no way it wasn't gonna turn out cute! Maureen lives in VA, and her daughter Meghan is going to be attending the University of Louisville this year, and she will be a goalie on the U of L Field Hockey team. I am really excited for Meghan, but even more excited that Maureen and I actually get to see each other once in a while. We have been friends for about 21 years. Our husbands lived together in Germany when they were stationed there while in the Army. Maureen is the person who introduced me to Stampin'Up! about 14 years ago - and I am happy to say she is a member of my downline!
Enough about that - here is the project!
Isn't this adorable! The one that Maureen gave me was cream colored with black crowns all around it and it said Happy Birthday inside. Since I had to make this while I was at Susan's house - I asked her what she wanted her present to say inside and she decided on Celebrate! Below is the picture of the inside and thanks to my friend Connie Sylvester for doing the Vanna White thing!

I will share more pictures and things from conventional later - but for now I need to start unpacking all of my stamping stuff, doing laundry, go buy groceries etc etc! I'd rather be stamping!

Hey jeannine - I am glad you liked the project. I will be doing these at my class on Nov. 6th - and I will post some pictures of how it goes together after that. I just made it up - so I really didn't have any directions I followed. I will mention that I did use the Big Shot and Zyron to make it!
