Hi Stampers,
For those of you who have been in my stamp room - you know that my favorite thing to do is make collages. I started making collages a couple of years ago - and after I made the first one I was hooked. The reason I named my blog Stamp Art Squared is because I just love making little stamped squares and putting them all together to create something great. This past week my parents were visiting from WI and my mom wanted to make a collage for a friend of hers. She worked on it while I was out of town, drawing inspiration from the many collages and cards displayed in my stamp room, and then when I came home I helped her to pull it all together and I have to say - it turned out quite lovely! Not everything on here is SU - we used a few Quickutz dies, but if you look at it you will see for the most part it is Stampin'Up! stuff that we used and I can't tell you how happy I was to be able to pull out my old Baja Breeze and Red Riding Hood paper and ink! I can't wait for the new colors! Speaking of colors - I have a fun little story to share about this collage. When we first did the square with the name "Joan" on it - we did it on a yellow square. That night while I was in bed, I remembered that Joan's last name was "Browne" so we had to change it to a brown square. I wonder if she will get it!
- CS: Red Riding Hood, Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla
- Ink: Same as CS
- Supplies: Too many to name!
Stampin' Tips:
- The frame is 11 x 14 with an 8 x 10 mat. The squares are 1 and 3/4 inches!
Thanks for visiting! I would love to hear what you think of the collage!

Hi Connie! This is gorgeous! Do you use a standard size frame? What size is each little square work of art? This is such a wonderful gift. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas with us. Just lovely!!

24 squares? This would take me approximately one month just to plan and then another week to complete. Talk about a labor of love! It turned out absolutely wonderful. Kudos to you and your mom.

This particular collage is 1 and 3/4 inch squares - but I do have others that I do in different sizes.
Thanks for the sweet compliment Brandi! I have been following your blog for a while and I absolutely love what you do so it is really fun to get a comment from you! I really wanted to enter the Artisan Award this year, but time got away from me. I will have to start working on it now in order to have things ready for next year!!
Chellie - you can do it girl!! It is so much fun!
