This past weekend we had traveled back to Purdue for the wedding of another one of Robbie's really good friends. Ethan and Robbie bowled together for four years and when we were at tournaments I often sat next to his girlfriend Meagan while we watched the guys bowl. Bowling tournaments are often all day long, so I really got to know a lot about Meagan during that time and I have to say, Ethan is a lucky guy, they are perfect for each other. It was so sweet of them to include Robbie in their wedding as an honorary groomsman. Meagan grew up on a farm in a small town in IN and the reception was held at the farm, complete with cows just outside the tent! During the past year they searched the resale stores for old china plates, and all of the tables were set with beautiful mismatched China mixed with burlap, candles, mason jars etc. It was really lovely.
Today I will share the collage and card I made for the new couple. I used the invitation to create parts of the squares on the collage and I thought a chalkboard look would be fun for the card. I hope they love it!
One of my son's friends from college is getting married today, so I am going to share a wedding card I made with the new Road to Happiness Stamp set. When it comes to love - I will admit that I am in love with those new ink pads! I used my espresso ink pad on the card and wow does it give a nice impression! As part of the wedding gift, I made a personalized wedding collage. I used some of the papers from the actual invitation and the wedding stamps I used are retired Stampin'Up! sets. I didn't have a very good picture to use for the center, but hopefully they will switch it out for a nice little black and white photo from the wedding! Happy wedding day to TJ and Ally!

Hi Stampers! This past weekend we traveled to Fall Creek for a family wedding. The bride and groom had requested no gifts, but I really wanted to give them something so I put together a Wedding collage. I have been wanting to do a collage for weddings and silver and golden wedding anniversaries, so this was the perfect excuse to take the time to design it. I was really happy with how the collage turned out. I used the photo that they had on their invitation, and some of the papers I used on the collage actually came from their invitation, as well as the wording I put across the bottom. I hope they like it!
I will be posting an anniversary collage soon also. If anyone wants to order a personalized collage for a wedding or anniversary - please send me a note and I will give you the details! Please remember, I share the photos of my collages for inspiration only. If you are inspired to make collages - I hope you will take the time to create something special that is your own design, and not copy what you see here!
